Battle online with the best monster scouts from around the globe in the Monster World Championship. Register a buddy's Friend Code, and you can single them out for an online battle—or hold a practice fight with a random player. Local Multiplayer
Host and participate in epic battles with your friends using the Nintendo DS system's local wireless capability. Up to eight scouts can take part in a tournament together as long as each person owns a copy of the game. Players can also link up to exchange monsters and expand their collection. Being a monster scout is always more fun with a crew!
Tag Mode
Teeming with options, Tag Mode lets you trade with and battle fellow monster scouts. You can test your team's mettle against a buddy, and save memorable match-ups to relive exciting Tag Mode battles.
Enhance your team by scouting monsters from a fellow Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 player, or even obtain rare monsters by using Tag Mode with players of Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies or Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.
