There are eight different "families" of monsters, and every single beast you encounter—from Slime, to Dragon, Zombie, and more—fits into one of them.
Each family has its own set of unique abilities, so whether you are looking for beasts with high hit points skill with support magic, there is a family of monsters to suit your need.
Size Matters
On this island, not all monsters are created equal. You're likely to run into some truly massive creatures, almost all of whom can be recruited for your party!
Between your main and reserve monsters, you have a limited number of slots. These bigger beasts may take up two or even three slots—but with that added size comes added power.
Monsters Ranks
Each monster you see is ranked ranging from F to SS. The rank indicates not only how powerful it is, but also how hard it is to come by. Aim for the best grade you can with every monster you recruit. Want to enlist an SS ranked beast? Not only will you have to search far and wide, but you'll need a tip-top team to bring them to your cause.
